Koreen Kamala Solano

My name is Koreen Kamala Solano. I am a Trinidad-based artist. Since I was five

years old, I have been doing art. Art has been my passion ever since.

Without the ability to actualize an idea or concept, art would not exist. My

creative work includes drawing, painting, and mixed media. My work is a constant

search for the best way to interpret my ideas about myself and the

world I live in. I do not limit myself to one medium, style, or concept. Inspiration,

ideas, and knowledge change.

Each piece I create I get my inspiration from God, memories of the past, where I

came from, what I have learned, as well as a preview of the future and where I am

going.
