From a Young Hobbyist to an Emerging Artist

As a child, my love for art was evident in my constant drawing and coloring, even resorting to napkins when paper wasn't available. While creating handmade cards and bookmarks, which also allowed me to write poems, I never saw myself as an Artist, merely crafting gifts for my family.

After experiencing two significant losses, my creative spark dimmed until I found solace in applying mehndi and baking cakes. The latter unexpectedly transformed into a home-based business over a decade, unknowingly becoming my artistic outlet.

In my late thirties, inspired by the advice I gave my children about self-belief, I took a leap and invested in proper art supplies. With the unwavering support of loved ones, I traded cake decorating tools for paint and canvas, embracing a new artistic journey.

Transitioning from buttercream and palette knives to paint and brushes might sound cliché, but it's never too late to chase your dreams.
